I work as a martial arts instructor. I’ve been teaching for almost ten years now. I also conduct seminars on practical self defense. I’m surprised at how many people can’t tell the difference between taser guns and stun guns. Stun guns are hand held devices that you need to touch the attacker in order to “stun” him with 50,000 volts and up. Tasers are hand held devices that shoot electrical probes at your attacker from 15 feet away. It carries a lower voltage but the electrical charge pulsates the body rendering your attacker twitching helplessly. If price is not an option, taser guns are the best non lethal self defense weapon in the market.
