Wilderness survival kits

When you go out into the wilds, are you sure that you are equipped to survive emergencies? Wilderness survival kits should be carried by each person in the group. They must be small enough to be carried on the person, not in the car or the backpack that you might leave behind in the camp. It might be a good idea to organize the kits of each one in the group so that each will have a different content. This will ensure that you are carrying a wider variety of survival items.

A survival kit will vary in its contents depending on the intended outing, but there are basic items that should always be present. This will include medications for headaches, insect bites and allergies, a whistle, flashlights and batteries and a multipurpose folding knife set. You will need waterproof matches in case you need to make a fire and tablets to purify water for drinking. Compose a kit that is as complete as possible to ensure a safe and enjoyable camping in the wilderness. It can make the difference between a productive trip and one that will end in a disaster.
