Bicycle safety lights

Bicycle safety lights, helmets, and elbow and kneepads are necessary for a safe bike ride. You can also wear vests with reflector strips to make sure you are very visible to vehicles and people passing by. Even if you are just going around the corner, it is best that you are padded and protected from head to toe. You would rather be safe than sorry.

When riding at night, it is necessary to have headlights and taillights on your bike. Most of these lights can easily be attached and secured on your bike’s handlebars, seat posts or bike frames. Most require batteries so that the lights are flashing. These lights are usually visible at distances of up to about a mile. Remember all the riding rules and hand signals so have a safer trip when going on your bike. Remember, your safety should be your primary concern.
