These are times when we always worry about the safety of our family. Not one day passes that we don’t hear of a killing or yet another case of rape. We pray hard that this will not happen to our sons and daughters. We admonish about coming home late. We encourage them to take up martial arts.

Martial arts are forms of self defense which originated in Asia. Throwing knives is a form of martial arts. It was popularized by the Ninja as throwing stars. I don’t think it is still popular today. But in the times that they were being used, throwing stars had many different designs and shapes. Originally it was a weapon for stabbing and slashing.
