With so many types of alarm system available in the market these days, choosing the right one can sometimes be tricky. Read on for suggestions on how to get the right alarm for you.
1. The most important component of an alarm is the sound it produces. This sound needs to be as loud and as high-pitched as possible. Ideally, it also needs to be different to those usually heard such as police sirens and automobile alarms.
2. A personal safety alarm needs to be easy to carry, although it is important to take into account whether a very lightweight and small alarm will be as loud as you need it to be.
3. Ease of use also is also a consideration, like how would you operate the alarm in an emergency situation.

The Stun Master is one of the most popular brands of stun guns on the market today. You can choose from 100,000 volts to 775,000 volts of discharge. This is one great device to have especially if you live or work near places that are not safe. The stun master will temporarily render your attacker immobile, giving you time to escape.
This stun gun even features a disable pin that is attached to the wrist strap. If your attacker grabs the stun gun, you can just let them take it. The disable pin will be pulled out since it is attached to the wrist strap. This disables the stun gun so it cannot be used anymore. It’s important to check your state laws regarding the purchase and use of stun guns before you buy.

One thing I notice about people entering malls is that some of them don’t follow security measures. Some just pass by through the guards even though they have already seen a Garret metal detector aimed at their bags. Others don’t even follow the courtesy of opening their bags for inspection.
Well, I wish people would stop ignoring these safety measures. It is for their safety, after all. With the threats to our security becoming very real nowadays, it’s important that every person give their full cooperation. People should realize that security is a team effort and each person has a role to play. Mall entrance inspection is easy to do; the least we can do agree to these security policies.

Despite the number of controversial debate of taser use as a defensive weapon, it is still considered one of the top choices in self-defense tools. The advanced taser packs quite a punch while still remaining non-lethal. This makes it an ideal defense against attackers. What it does is it releases an electric current that temporarily scrambles communication between the brain and the muscles. Once that happens, the attacker is temporarily immobilized allowing you to call for help or run away.
There is also no danger of misfiring your taser inside your bag. There are a number of safety features that prevent that from happening. The taser is easy to use, handy and effective. It is ideal for most people who have to work at night or at an area where crime is somewhat rampant. It comes with extra cartridges and each cartridge can only be used once.

A fire blanket is an essential piece of first aid equipment you can have in your home, office, factory or anywhere. It can really save your life when a fire breaks out in any of these places. There are specific blankets for industrial use since industrial fires can be bigger and more dangerous.
Home use blankets are smaller and made of fire retardant material. They are usually placed in easy to release containers so you don’t have to fidget with any straps or locks. These fire blankets can also be wrapped around a person when his clothes catch fire. It is always important to have basic first aid knowledge. Since we don’t know when an emergency may occur, it is best to be prepared.

Small businesses need to be protected as much as large establishments. Equip your security guards with baton tasers. These deliver a shock when touched six inches from the tip. An assailant will have a hard time grabbing a baton taser and taking it away.
Baton tasers are very powerful and have extended reach. Simply put touch an attacker with it and pull the trigger. It needs only three to five seconds to leave someone dazed and temporarily paralyzed. It won’t result to any permanent damage and full recovery can be achieved within 5-10 minutes.
