Being in the police force for more than ten years, I have dealt with hardened criminals and have put many of them in jail. I cannot help but worry about the fact that may retaliate one day. It would be just fine if they had gone back to me, as I can clearly defend myself. But when they take matters in their own hands and let my family in on this, then it really frightens me for real.

I would never really anticipate or figure out how the minds of these criminals go, but the best thing I can do is to keep my family protected. This is especially important in the home where everyone should feel safe at all times. I have invested in a number of home security products which can give me the peace of mind whenever I am out of the house. Since my job requires me to work long hours, I am comforted by the fact that at least I have taken the measures to keep them safe while I am gone.
