digital video recording system
As they say, a suspect remains innocent until proven guilty. And proving the crime is the most difficult part for any victim. This is particularly true in cases where there are no physical signs of crime. This also happens when there are no witnesses to the incident. Thus, when a case cannot be proven, it can be unduly prolonged or dismissed, making the injured party a victim twice over.
Using a digital video recording system can be useful in solving crimes by increasing the chances of identifying suspects. More and more establishments have turned to CCTV surveillance to protect people and property. Some residential units have also been equipped with CCTV cameras. Just recently, it has been reported in a morning show how a neighborhood crime watch group was formed by the residents themselves. This not only included volunteer car patrolling of streets but also the installation of CCTV cameras in strategic points.
