video surveillance cameras
To beef up security and to protect their people and their interests, many offices use cameras. These video surveillance cameras are more often than not part of a specialized security system that a company implements. They are helpful in keeping track of employees as well as visitors and clients and their behavior. Surveillance cameras also guard against intruders and other suspicious looking persons, as well as troublesome incidents.
To successfully cover as many areas as possible, multiple cameras are installed and working simultaneously in key points of an office or building. The images in each camera can be shown all at the same time in a special screen specifically set up for this purpose. Ideally, there is at least one person watching this screen continually, ready to report and act on any anomalous occurrence. But if this isn’t the case, videos can always be played back and an event can be viewed as it happened. Video surveillance cameras are particularly helpful in determining when an incident happened as cameras usually show the day, date and time of every recording. They are also advantageous in identifying people whose faces were captured on cam. For example, a camera over an ATM machine can clearly show who instigated the holdup by the machine and walked away with all the money.
