first aid supplies
When an emergency strikes, are you prepared to treat injuries that can save lives? You or a family member may sustain cuts, wounds or burns that would need first aid treatment. Always keep a stash of much needed first aid supplies in your home. These would come in handy when you need to help someone who has been hurt until he/she can be brought to the hospital or until medical professionals arrive.
Keep the following basic supplies in your home and replenish/re-stock as needed:~ Two pairs of disposable gloves and sterile dressings to stop bleeding ~ A cleansing agent/soap and antibiotic towelettes for disinfection ~ Burn ointment and antibiotic ointment to prevent infection ~ Eye wash solution, scissors, and over-the-counter medicines like pain relievers, laxatives and anti-diarrhea medications ~ Prescription medicines taken by family members as well as prescribed medical supplies
