Disaster first aid kits
Natural disasters sometimes occur without warning. The devastation that follows these disasters is oftentimes overwhelming. If you’re not the least bit prepared to deal with the aftermath, the frustration is magnified. Disaster first aid kits are put together with the sole purpose of sustaining and treating injured survivors. They are often packed with supplies that will last for several days.
Most companies and even some schools now have these kits in their facilities. In fact, it’s often required by fire safety marshals for establishments to have these first aid kits before they can open for business. This ensures that patrons or clients have some level of safety should any kind of disaster happen. Parents with more than one child should also have these kits at home. If your home has bomb shelters or panic rooms, a few of these kits should be added among the provisions.
