Be prepared. That is the motto of the Boy Scouts. And everybody should adhere to this motto. In any emergency, we need to be prepared so we don’t panic. We should always have disaster medical kits on hand so that whatever happens, you can just grab your bag and know that you have some essentials on hand.

There are different emergency kits available in the market. There are 3-day disaster kits and kits for 2 up to 20 people. They usually contain water, 2,400-calorie food bars, flashlights with radios, whistle, blankets, etc. These kits will let you survive for at least three days. You should always have one ready in your car. You can even make your own kit. Each family member can have a backpack containing the basic survival needs. So everyone is ready for an emergency.
